At JA of Lawrence, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!

Lawrence Business Hall of Fame May 2023
When: Wednesday, May 03, 2023The 2023 Lawrence Business Hall of Fame Tribute Dinner celebrating Lawrence business leaders is being held on May 3, 2023 at the University of Kansas Burge Union. The reception will begin at 5:30 pm and the tribute dinner and awards begins at 6:15 pm.
The 2023 class includes: Tom Dobski, Ralph Gage, Jr., Gary Sollars and Wint Winter, Jr.

Lawrence Bowl-A-Thon 2022
When: Friday, October 14, 2022 - Sunday, October 16, 2022Join us at Royal Crest Lanes on October 14-16 for a FUN filled weekend of bowling, retro costume contests, 50/50 raffles and prizes! There are 3 Days to choose from with many different bowling times available.
Want to find out all the details? Join us for our Retro Bowl Kickoff Luncheon on Tuesday, August 23 from 12:00-1:00 at Wayne & Larry's Bar and Grill to get all the important information to form your teams. Contact JA at debbie@kansasja.org to RSVP for the luncheon by Friday, August 19th!
All proceeds raised will help Lawrence JA provide educational programs for the children in Douglas County!

Lawrence Bowl-A-Thon
When: Friday, October 23, 2020 - Sunday, November 08, 2020Companies, families or individuals recruit teams of five bowlers each. The bowlers then collect donations that will support the Junior Achievement financial education program, which reaches over 27,000 children statewide.
