Sarah Dunekack President & CEO - Leadership
Sarah Dunekack joined Junior Achievement of Kansas in November 2024 as the President and CEO. Prior to this she served on the Topeka Board of Directors for two years. Sarah leads the organization's mission to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. With a strong background in leadership, strategic planning, and community engagement, she is dedicated to equipping students across Kansas with essential skills in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship.
Before joining Junior Achievement, Sarah held leadership roles, where she contributed to local workforce initiatives and organizational development. Her collaborative approach and commitment to results have been instrumental in building partnerships with educators, volunteers, and business leaders to expand JA’s reach and impact.
A native of Topeka, Sarah is deeply invested in her community. She enjoys volunteering, and spending time with family. Sarah is proud to lead an organization that empowers young people to realize their potential and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
Debbie Harman Lawrence District Director - Leadership
Debbie Harman has been with Junior Achievement for over 30 years, starting out her career with JA at JA-USA in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She lives in Lawrence with her husband.
